Alo House is an approved site for MSW students at USC
Alo House holds the highest possible ranking for training sites approved by the University of Southern California (USC), ranking a five on a five level numeration.
Our commitment to marginalized and vulnerable populations and the adherence to Evidence Based Practices are two of the measurements used in distinguishing this ranking.
As a teaching facility for future psychotherapists, we further our dedication to the research and design of innovative approaches in the field of mental health and addiction.
The USC Masters of Social Work (MSW) program has three practicums in their curriculum for each of the years it takes to complete. We have structured placements for all levels for these graduate students.
Our Program Director
Alo House’s Program Director, Carson Winn, has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work, practicing psychotherapy as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2007.
His work in residential substance abuse treatment began in 1998, while still in college. He leads the USC Field Placements for MSW students at Alo House.
