Silver Lake IOP Coordinator
Heidi Pherson has been working in the field of recovery since 2014 and sober since November 2012, while attending late-night AA meetings in NYC’s West Village. She realized the necessity of whole-person healing early in her journey, and with dedication established a nourishing daily practice of meditation and kundalini yoga as the twin engines of her sobriety.
Heidi discovered that establishing a daily spiritual practice illuminated to her the value of a service-oriented life, which she expresses daily in her work at Alo House Recovery Centers®.
She has also worked in a variety of nonprofits, teaching gardening to children in the Bronx and working with the LGBTQI population in helping to address issues of violence and self-protection.
In her spare time, Heidi loves visiting botanical gardens, meditating at home with her partner, adventures in fermentation, and weekend trips connecting with Madre Tierra.
We believe trust, meaningful connections, and kindness are the essentials to beginning a journey in recovery. We are dedicated to providing an honest, authentic, and genuine treatment environment that gives our clients a unique opportunity for healing.
