Tracy Gottbetter is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in the treatment of addiction. She earned her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute in 2005, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from the University of California at Berkeley.
Tracy has 15 years of experience working at various treatment centers, eating disorder programs, mental health agencies and schools in the Los Angeles area. Tracy has also been an Adjunct Faculty member at Phillips Graduate Institute, teaching group dynamics and supervising in the family systems program. She aspires to help people live more authentic, fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Tracy integrates a family systems perspective in her approach using cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, mindfulness and spirituality into her work. She is in the process of training in EMDR therapy to better support her clients. Tracy uses our connection, not control® philosophy beautifully in her work with our clients.
